Our studios and apartments
are named after the Iris flowers
called Irides in Greek.
In spring you can find these
lovely flowers around our
accommodation.

In Greek mythology, Iris (Ἶρις) is the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. As the sun unites Earth and heaven, Iris links the gods to humanity. One of the many different forms in which Iris would descend to the earth from the sky, carrying the messages of the Olympian Gods to the mortals was that of the flower.
